Anyone interested is welcome to attend.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><strong>November 2025<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><\/span>The <strong>Photographs from the 2025 Show<\/strong> are now on the site and can be found <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/hinderwellshow.org.uk\/?page_id=983\">here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>HISTORY<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">The show is said to have started to solve an argument between two local men who couldn\u2019t agree who had the best Cleveland Bay foal. After this inauspicious start, the show has grown from strength to strength providing family entertainment and fun.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>SHOW CLASSES AND ENTERTAINMENT<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hinderwellshow.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Bouncy-Castles.jpg\" alt=\"Bouncy Castles\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-265\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hinderwellshow.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Bouncy-Castles.jpg 400w, https:\/\/hinderwellshow.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Bouncy-Castles-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">The show is still renowned for its Cleveland Bay classes \u2013 a breed of horse favoured the by Queen for pulling her carriages \u2013 but also gives people the opportunity to show their skills and animals in a range of \u2018friendly\u2019 competitions.&nbsp; It also include classes in heavy horses, pony breeding, ridden ponies, show jumping and gymkhana.&nbsp; Smaller animals also have the chance to shine with classes for sheep, ferrets and in the dog show.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hinderwellshow.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Tractors.jpg\" alt=\"Vintage Machinery\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-272\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hinderwellshow.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Tractors.jpg 400w, https:\/\/hinderwellshow.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Tractors-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">There are also classes in vintage machinery, farm produce, garden produce, flowers, handicrafts confectionery, preserves and photography.&nbsp; Children get a chance to show off their talents with prizes for the best picture, collage, handwriting and various other arts and crafts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_261\" style=\"width: 410px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-261\" src=\"https:\/\/hinderwellshow.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Band-400x300.jpg\" alt=\"Down and Outs\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" class=\"size-full wp-image-261\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hinderwellshow.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Band-400x300.jpg 400w, https:\/\/hinderwellshow.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Band-400x300-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-261\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Downe and Outs at the 2017 Show<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">The Goathland and Glaisdale Hunt will be making their customery appearance. Alpacas and owls will also be on show along with over thirty craft and trade stands that range from antique books and jewellery to plants and children\u2019s amusements.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>ON THE DAY<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Entry is \u00a38 per adult, \u00a33 for children or \u00a320 for a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children).&nbsp; Under 5&#8217;s are free.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LATEST UPDATES: &nbsp; March 2026 The Trade Stands Application Form is now available here.
